Practical
- How long does a project take?
- Build is 1 to 2 weeks — everything is cleanly rewritten in Next.js + Supabase, regardless of scope. Timing only depends on your domain release and whether photo material is ready.
- Can we meet for free first?
- Always. A first chat is non-binding and free. You get honest advice — even if I think someone else would help you better.
- Do you work alone or with a team?
- I work alone for development. For logos, photography or copy I refer you to people I like to work with — usually all in West Flanders.
- Do you work with clients outside Belgium?
- Preferably local (West Flanders + Brussels) so we can meet. But for specific projects, elsewhere works too — it's all digital.
Price & payment
- How does invoicing work?
- You compose everything in the configurator and see your exact fixed price (excl. VAT). You pay a 30% deposit via Mollie (incl. 21% VAT) to lock your scope; the balance in full on delivery or split over 3, 6, 12 or 24 months without any surcharge. The subscription runs monthly.
- Can I upgrade from Starter to Pro later?
- Yes. You only pay the difference + the time for the extra features. Your maintenance subscription you upgrade yourself from your client portal.
- Is a maintenance subscription required?
- Yes, one subscription (Care/Plus/Scale/Partner) is required from month 1 — it keeps your site secure, up to date and hosted. You freely pick the level, not tied to your package, and can upgrade later. No lock-in on your code.
Technical
- What technology do you use?
- Next.js 16 (React) for the frontend, Supabase for database and auth, Tailwind v4 for styling, Vercel for hosting. All open standards — no vendor lock-in.
- What about SEO?
- Built in by default: sitemap.xml, robots.txt, Open Graph, structured data. For migrations I add permanent redirects so you don't lose ranking.
- Do I get the code?
- Yes, the code is in a GitHub repo you get access to. Even if we ever part ways, everything stays yours.
- What about privacy and GDPR?
- Cookie banner, privacy policy, data export and deletion built into every site. Hosting in Europe (Vercel EU + Supabase EU region).
After delivery
- What if something breaks?
- The first 30 days after launch I fix bugs for free. After that, support is included in your maintenance subscription (required from month 1).
- Can I edit content myself?
- Yes — the admin is built for you. Menus, photos, text, opening hours, you change it all without a developer.
- What if I want new features?
- Two options: Plus/Scale subscription with included development hours, or book a mini-project per quarter.
