- Not required. Without one, your site sits on the free tier; support is then hourly (€95/h). A Care/Plus/Scale subscription is usually cheaper and more reassuring.
- What if the site goes down?
- With monitoring, I (and you on Plus/Scale) get an automatic alert. Often fixed before customers see it.
- Do I get the code if we stop?
- Yes, always. The code is in your GitHub repo. No hostage situation.
